One of the biggest problems with the genre, though, is the extremely short runtimes. Pull up a site like Pornhub and the amateur section tends to be stocked with 30-second iPhone videos. They’re long enough to get you hard, but too short to properly crank off to.

That’s why the runtimes on the front page of HoodAmateurs really stood out at me. As a whole, these movies are longer than the homebrew smut on other sites. The shortest scene on the front page is two minutes, and it’s an outlier. Most of them run a good ten to twenty minutes, giving you a lot more time to get comfortable and get off.

That ain’t the case, though, because the oldest comment on the vid was posted ten months ago.

HoodAmateurs runs on user uploads and gets a fair volume of traffic, so I’m not sure what the issue is here. My guess is that new uploads get put into a moderation queue, and whoever runs the show has been slacking off. While that’s a bummer, it means there’s potentially a backlog of fresh videos just waiting for somebody to click the approval button.
